alfanar Metering Enclosures are weatherproof metal enclosures with integrated transparent Perspex viewing windows, specifically designed to house electrical meters and monitoring equipment for utility, commercial, and industrial applications throughout the UAE and GCC. The viewing window enables utility personnel and technicians to read and monitor internal meters without opening the door — reducing unauthorized access risk and maintaining enclosure integrity.

Available in three window configurations: open cutout (IPXX), transparent window with protective flap door (IP65), and fixed transparent window (IP54) — the PL-HD series. The flap door IP65 version is ideal for UAE outdoor meter installations where full weatherproofing is essential, while the IP54 fixed window version suits indoor utility rooms and metering panels.

Built from 1.2mm–1.5mm electro-galvanized steel with polyester powder coat finish, these enclosures include a 150x150mm Perspex meter viewing window (up to 5mm thick), a 200x200mm Perspex protective cover with hinges, and padlocking arrangement for tamper protection. Gland boxes can be ordered separately for cable entry management.
