NCI 2, 3, 4, and 5-Core XLPE Insulated, PVC Sheathed Copper Cables with Steel Wire Armour (SWA) are manufactured to BS 5467 at 0.6/1 kV by National Cables Industry, Sharjah UAE. Carrying ESMA and BASEC certifications, these XLPE insulated multicore cables operate at a continuous temperature rating of 90°C — a key advantage over PVC insulated cables — making them ideal for high ambient temperature environments typical in the UAE and across the GCC.
The range covers 2-core (1.5–35mm²), 3-core (1.5–400mm²), 4-core (1.5–400mm²), and 5-core (1.5–70mm²) configurations with round stranded (rm), sectoral stranded (sm), and round stranded compacted (rmc) conductors depending on core count and size. Heavy steel wire armouring provides mechanical protection for direct burial, cable trench, and cable tray applications.
