NCI XLPE Insulated, Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) Sheathed Copper Cables to IEC 60502-1 at 0.6/1 kV are manufactured by National Cables Industry, Sharjah UAE, with ESMA certification. These cables are specifically designed for installations in enclosed public spaces, high-rise buildings, hospitals, airports, metro stations, shopping malls, tunnels, and anywhere that fire safety is a critical concern.
The LSZH outer sheath is specially formulated to emit minimal smoke and zero halogen gases in the event of a fire — dramatically improving evacuation safety and reducing corrosive damage to equipment compared to standard PVC cables. XLPE insulation provides the full 90°C operating temperature advantage.
Available in 1-core (1.5–630mm²), 2-core (1.5–35mm²), 3-core (1.5–500mm²), 4-core (1.5–500mm²), and 5-core (1.5–70mm² via BS 6724 section) configurations, in both unarmoured and armoured (SWA, STA, AWA, ATA) forms. These cables are mandated on UAE government and public building projects where passive fire protection standards apply.
