MESC Power and Control Single & Multi Core Unarmoured Cable (CU/XLPE/PVC, IEC 60502-1) can be used indoors or outdoors in cable ducts, cable trays, conduits or underground in power and switching stations, local distribution systems, industrial plants and commercial buildings. XLPE insulation (Class 2 stranded annealed copper) allows operating temperatures up to 90°C with max short circuit of 250°C. Black flame-retardant PVC Type ST-2 outer sheath per IEC 60502-1. Single core: 1.5–150mm². Multi core (2–5 core): various size ranges. Detailed electrical data including inductance, inductive reactance, impedance and short circuit current ratings provided.
